Annual Events

These events occur every year at the Greater Sudbury Museums.

WinterCarnival

Walden Winter Carnival

The Walden Winter Carnival is Greater Sudbury’s longest running winter carnival and one of the longest running carnivals in the north! This amazing event is run entirely by volunteers. It features indoor and outdoor events at multiple sites – truly something for everyone!

Easter Egg Hunt

Walden Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt

The Walden Lions Club hosts their annual Easter Egg Hunt where kids of all ages can hunt for eggs throughout the grounds of Anderson Farm Museum. The event has a shotgun start, and the site is divided into zones by age group. Children line up in their designated age group area 15 minutes before the start of the event. The Walden Lions mascots and the Easter Bunny will be on site for a little visit, hugs and pictures too!

Please Note: This is a totally free community event, but you must bring your own basket to collect your eggs. The event really does start exactly on time, so if you’re not early there’s a good chance you will miss out on the eggs!

This event is organized and operated by the Walden Lions Club.
